Types of Interpreting
Consecutive interpreting
While the speaker is speaking, the interpreter takes notes; when the speaker pauses, the interpreter states, in the target language, what the speaker has just said. This type of interpretation, compared to simultaneous interpreting, takes almost twice as long, but is a more accurate type of interpretation.
[Applications]
Escorting and attending to important guests, Courtesy Calls, Inspections, Internal Meetings, Seminars, Trade Fairs, Exhibitions, etc.
Simultaneous interpreting
Interpreters listen to the speakers in a booth using headphones and simultaneously send the interpretations via microphone. The audience hears the interpreters’ voices through receivers.
For this kind of interpretation, simultaneous interpreting equipment is required, as well as audio systems.
[Applications]
Conferences (including International and Academic), Internal Meetings, Symposia, Seminars, Trade Fairs, Exhibitions, etc.
Whisper interpreting
This is the same as simultaneous interpreting, but in this case, the interpreter is next to the clients and interprets for them in a whisper.
Interpreting for multiple clients can be done using portable interpreting equipment.
[Applications]
Escorting and attending to important guests, Courtesy Calls, Inspections, Conferences (including International and Academic), Internal Meetings, Symposia, Seminars, Trade Fairs, Exhibitions, etc.
Sign language interpreting
Sign language interpreting is also available. Please contact us for details.

Interpretation Process
1 Interpretation inquiry
Clients provide information about the conference: the type, schedule, venue, language(s), type of interpreting required (simultaneous, consecutive or whispered) and the number of participants.
2 Estimate and proposal
Based on the client's needs, we will propose the most suitable type of interpreting, the number of interpreters and type of equipment needed, and then draw up an estimate.
3 Order (Interpreters confirmed)
Upon receipt of an order and after carefully screening the interpreters' experience and expertise, we determine which interpreters are most suitable for the client's needs and inform the client of the details.*
(Note: Once an order is placed, if it is then cancelled, a cancellation fee may be charged.)
4 Confirmation of the details
We confirm the time and location of the meeting, whether a preparatory meeting is needed, and other details.
5 Materials
In order to provide the highest quality interpretation, we ask that clients provide us in advance with the text of the talk and other presentation materials that the speakers will use.
6 On site
Our coordinators can be present at the site as necessary.
7 Feedback
After conclusion of the interpretation, we ask our clients for feedback on our interpreters' performance so that we can improve our services.
